If you need to apply for a Canadian passport on a regular or urgent basis Immigroup can help you file your
canadian passport application to the correct authorities. All Canadian citizens must have a passport to enter Canada or a foreign country including the United States. Prior to 2007, Canadian citizens did not need to present a passport to visit the US. Anyone intending to cross the Canada US border today must hold a valid passport or a NEXUS pass. Canadian Passports are valid for 5 years; all applicants must present original proof of Canadian citizenship (for example a birth certificate or citizenship card) along with additional documents that prove your identity, proof of local residency (for applicants outside of Canada), and your old Canadian passport if you have one. If you are a married woman applying under your married name, you must also include your marriage certificate.
