International students who have completed their post-secondary education from Manitoba
are eligible to apply for permanent residency through the Manitoba International
Students category of the Provincial Nominee Program. When applying through this
category, applicants are given priority assessment. This means that the government
will review the application and make a decision within six months of receiving it.

Manitoba International Student Application Priority
Applicants are eligible to apply to the International Student category of the Provincial
Nominee Program if they meet the following criteria:
- Have graduated from a post-secondary program in the province;
- Have successfully applied for a work permit from Citizenship and Immigration
Canada and are currently working in the province
- Have received a full-time, long-term job offer from the current employer;
- Have the training and licensing, work experience, and language ability necessary
for permanent employment in the province
- Have the ability and intention to settle permanently in the province
