The New Brunswick Employer Direct provincial nominee immigration program is designed to fill labour market shortages with qualified immigrants. The main requirement for this category is a guaranteed job offer in the area of expertise of the applicant. Employers must show that they cannot fill the position using local candidates and that the position offered to a foreign worker will meet provincial standards and that the wage is comparable to industry standards.
