The Ontario Business category for the Provincial Nominee Program of Immigration
lets Ontario choose and nominate qualified business persons from all over the globe
who are able and willing to move to the province and establish, purchase, or invest
in a business.

Business skills stream requirements
To be considered for the Ontario Business category of provincial nomination, applicants
must meet the following criteria:
- Make a qualifying investment for the business program of $10 million or more and,
- Create 25 net permanent full-time positions.
Companies under the business Investor category can request up to a maximum of five
employees, known as nominees, for each qualifying investment they make in Ontario.

In order to be issued a visa, all candidates must meet criminal and medical admissibility
requirements. Applicants considered inadmissible to Canada may be denied a visa.
