on behalf of the Government of the province by the Ministry of Employment and Immigration
in conjunction with Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) to speed up the processing
of an application for permanent residence.

About the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee
Program
This Program is designed to support the Island’s economic growth by attracting foreign
workers to the province. Individuals nominated by the province, together with their
spouse and dependent children, are eligible to apply for a permanent resident visa
as a Provincial Nominee. Immigroup helps applicants wishing to live and work in

Skilled Worker
Applicants with a permanent, full-time employment offer with an employer in P.E.I
with the required education, work experience, and other criteria can apply for the
Skilled Worker program. Applicants should also score 50 points on the skilled worker
self-assessment form; demonstrate the ability to communicate in English or French
and an intention to settle in P.E.I.
Business/Entrepreneur
The Business Nominee Program operates under an agreement with the Government of
Canada and allows the Government of the province to nominate for immigration to
Canada those individuals with proven business skills who want to live in Prince
Edward Island, and who want to own and operate a business and make a significant
contribution to the community. Potential immigrants should score 50 points or more
on the self-assessment form, be able to invest $200,000 into establishing or purchasing
a business in the province and have a net worth of $400,000. Applicants must submit
a detailed business plan and prove they have the education and experience needed
to run a business.
Family Support
Applicants must prove they are a son/daughter, brother/sister, niece/nephew, aunt/uncle,
grandchild, or first cousin of a person in P.E.I. They must have an offer of employment
or a proven ability and intent to work in the province, be in good health, and do
not have a criminal record.
