The Saskatchewan Provincial Nominee Program is designed to support the
province's economic growth by attracting foreign workers to the province.
Individuals nominated by the province, together with their spouse and dependent
children, are eligible to apply for a permanent resident visa as a Provincial

Worker
Applicants must have a legal Status in the country of residence and must an
offer of fulltime permanent employment in Saskatchewan. Applicants must also
meet the qualifications of the federal skilled worker program
Agriculture
Applicants must have a net worth of $500,000, conduct a mandatory visit to the
province and have proven farm operation knowledge and experience.
International
Students
Applicants must have graduated with a degree, diploma, or certificate from a
post-secondary school in the province. The program must have been at least one
academic year long of full-time study. Applicants have worked for an employer in
the province for at least six months under a Citizenship and Immigration Canada
post-graduation work permit. The occupation must be related to the field of
study. The applicant has a current, permanent, full-time job offer from an
employer.
Business/Entrepreneur
Must have a minimum of 3 -5 years experience in business ownership or senior
management, minimum personal net worth of CDN $250,000 and must visit the
province to explore business opportunities. They must submit a business proposal
and make a minimum investment of CDN $150,000.
Family
Support
Applicants must have a relative who has lived in the province for at least one
year and that family member must be willing to provide the applicant with
assistance. Applicants must be between 18 - 49 years of age, have a signed
affidavit of support from the family member, have completed post-secondary
education or training and have at least one year of work experience in the area
of their education.
Health
Professionals
Applicants must have a temporary work permit showing that you have been
practicing as a physician/ nurse/ other health professional in the province for
at least six months. They must have a permanent employment offer from a
provincial health authority, the health education institution, or other publicly
funded agency where they are currently employed.
Truck Drivers
Applicants must be working on a temporary work permit for an approved trucking
firm in the province for at least six months, have a current Saskatchewan Class
1A driver's license and have an offer of full-time, permanent employment from an
employer, which must be an approved trucking firm in the province.
