The Saskatchewan Skilled Worker Category in the Immigrant Nominee Program is for candidates who have a full-time permanent job offer in Saskatchewan. There are three sub-categories in this program:
Applicants must live outside of Canada or have proof of legal status in Canada and are not refugee claimants.

Skilled Worker/Professional

To qualify for this category, you must meet the following criteria:
  • Have an offer of permanent, full-time employment with an employer in Saskatchewan;
  • The job offer must be in an occupation or trade in the National Occupational Classification Matrix  level “A” or “B”, or a designated trade in Saskatchewan;
  • You are single and free to marry
  • Score a minimum of 35 points on the Assessment Rating form in the application. You are awarded points based on the following factors:
    • Education and Training
    • Work Experience
    • Language Ability
    • Family Support
    • Saskatchewan Suitability
    • Community Support
    • Age
    • Personal Financial Resources
Occupations included in the NOC level “A” and “B” usually require university, college or technical school education or apprenticeship training.


Critical Occupations

This category is for applicants who are trained in a management position that will significantly impact the business offering the job and the province.

To be eligible for this category, applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • Have a confirmed, permanent, full-time offer of employment from a Saskatchewan employer in a management position that has been approved by the SINP as a critical occupations position;
  • Have a job offer in an occupation or trade in the National Occupational Classification (NOC) Matrix  level “0”;
  • Have scored at least 35 points on the Assessment Rating form included in the Application for Saskatchewan. Points are awarded on the following factors:
    • Education and Training
    • Work Experience
    • Language Ability
    • Family Support
    • Saskatchewan Suitability
    • Community Support
    • Age
    • Personal Financial Resources.
Existing Work Permit

This category is for persons who are currently working in Saskatchewan on a valid temporary work permit and their employer has made them an offer of full-time, permanent employment. To be eligible for this category, applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • Have a valid work permit to work in Canada;
  • Have an offer of permanent, full-time employment in Saskatchewan;
  • Have worked for at least six months under a Temporary Work Permit for the employer offering the position. The work permit must be supported by a Service Canada’s (SC) labour market confirmation or a North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) exemption;
  • Have a job offer in an occupation or trade in the National Occupational Classification Matrix  level “A” or “B” or a designated trade in the province.
This category does not include people working on open work permits.


Application process

Before submitting an application, applicants should make sure that they meet all requirements. The following are the forms required for the Saskatchewan Skilled Worker Program:

Application Forms
Skilled Workers Category Application: main application form for the SINP     
SINP Assessment Rating: Score at least 35 points to qualify
Net Worth: a list of assets and finances
Employer Critical Occupations Applications Forms: employer must complete this application form for the critical occupations category
Employer Information, Declaration and Release Form: a declaration to allow the disclosing of information
Affidavit of English Language Ability: a declaration that of fluency in English
Affidavit of Job Knowledge and Skills: declaration stating applicant holds the necessary skills for the position
Translator Affidavit: if using a translator, a declaration from the translator stating that the translations are true

Permanent Residence Application:  
 Application For Permanent Residence: Principal application form for Permanent Residence.   4-24* month
Schedule 1: Must be completed by each person over the age of 18 who is included in the application
Aditional Family Information: This form asks that the main applicant provide information about his/her family
Schedule 4 [economic class]: Provincial nominees must complete this form along with all other required forms for permanent residency

In order to be issued a visa, all candidates must meet criminal and medical admissibility requirements.

There is no PNP application fee for Saskatchewan

Right of permanent residence fee CDN $490 *

* Government fees are based on only one person in the application. Fees will vary depending on number of persons included in application. Applicants may be required to pay additional fees for medical exams, police certificates, language assessments, courier fees or adding dependents to the application.

This fee will be deducted from our total fees if you retain our services.
