CAIPS and FOSS Notes


Have you submitted an application to Immigration Canada and have experienced a delay?

Are you wondering why it’s taking so long?

All you need to do is download the CAIPS FILECHECK KIT if your application is being processed outside of Canada or the FOSS FILECHECK KIT if your application is being processed inside Canada.

What are CAIPS FILECHECK notes?

CAIPS FILECHECK notes are requested for applications being processed outside of Canada. The notes are a detailed computer printout regarding the progress of your application. Every action taken on your file is recorded.

What are FOSS FILECHECK notes?

FOSS FILECHECK notes are requested for applications being processed inside of Canada. The notes are a detailed computer printout regarding the progress of your application. Every action taken on your file is recorded.

What is the difference in the Basic Service and the Premium Service?

Our Basic Service includes a copy of your file notes. These notes will be sent to your email. Our fee for this is $49.07.

Our Premium Service includes a copy of your file notes with the notes fully interpreted and explained by our immigration specialist. These are also sent to your email. Our fee for this is $89.75.

How long does it take to obtain the filecheck notes?

The average time to receive your filecheck notes is 4-6 weeks from the time the application is submitted. Processing times will vary.
