WORKING IN CANADA

In most cases, a work permit is required to work temporarily in Canada.   To obtain one, you must have a job offer from a Canadian employer validated by HRSDC (Human Resources and Social Development Canada). However, certain occupations do not require HRSDC validation.

In some cases, temporary workers do not require a work permit but do require a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV).

If you have any questions regarding your job offer, work permit, or specific situation, please complete our query form or contact us by phone from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm (EST):
