British Citizenship

Hello im just trying to figure out where i stand . Both my mother and father were born in Britain, and eventually becoming Canadian citizens . Both of them kept there British citizenship , I was born in Canada in May 1981 and my parents were already married at the time of my birth .

my question is . do i have to register as a British citizen ? or did i inherit it through my parents ?

just wondering if im already eligible to apply for a passport ?
