Hi Friends,

I am moving to Canada will do soft landing in next few days. Unfortunately, I will not be able to share pics of my jewellery with customs during declaration but can explain details item wise on paper and can mention the approximate cost.
When I’ll visit second time for permanent settlement, can I declare jewellery with pics and approximate cost.

hope it will be fine and I will not incur duty on jewellery when I get it next time.

regards
Nitin

You need to declare the jewelry when you bring it in. If you don't bring it in at the time you are moving to Canada, I'm not sure it can be part of the moving exemption, but you could call CBSA about it and see if it would be.
