Dependence Child status

Hi dear,
I apply my PR and also for them inland, I have a question about my kid's status, who live in outside Canada.
When I get my work permit how about the kid's status? Do their status change to student/ or something like that ?
May I bring them to Canada with implied status as dependence Child? Or I have to apply their visitor visa?

If your dependent children as part of the sponsorship process they would normally be eligible to apply for study permits. However, if you're applying inland and they're not with you, then I don't see how they could be included in the sponsorship application, unless I am missing something.
