Entering Australia from canada

I have a PR to australia and a citizen of India, i came to canada on tourist visa to spend some time with my sibling and want to goto australia from canada itself, do i go back to india in order to enter australia or can i goto australia from canada itself.

You have permanent residence? Or do you have a visa entitling you to permanent residence?
This is a Canadian immigration forum, not an Australian one, so I do not know anything about Australian immigration policies, but I have trouble imagining they would attempt to restrict where you can travel from.
