I think I've lost My Permanant Residency

I have been living outside of Canada in Australia and can only muster approx. 600 days being in Canada during the last 5 years.
The only points that may help are that I was a PR for over 10 years 1999-2012.
I was on the verge of getting getting citizenship, but ran out of time just before leaving Canada.
I'm retired and live on a private pension.
If I apply for a Canadian PR abroad for re- entry what are the chances of success or am I wasting my time?
Thank you, grateful for any advice.

So you need at least 730 days, to the best of my knowledge.

You cannot apply for a PR Card outside of Canada. You can apply for a Permanent Resident Travel Document, a one time travel document to travel to Canada. However, I cannot see how you would be approved.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for your speedy response.

I am so kicking myself for not getting citizenship when I had the chance.
