What CBL would you take if IELTS scores are Listening 8.5, Reading 6, Speaking 8.5, and writing 7.5. If one has to take CBL as 7 because your least score is 6 than that is very unfair and if you take it on the basis of one's average score, which is 7.5, than you don't know if that is correct way and secondly should you take it as 7 or 8 for there is no CBL equivalent for IELTS 7.5 ... CAN SOMEONE GUIDE PLEASE

For Express Entry, at least, the points are awarded per ability, meaning that you get different CBL scores based on your different IELTS scores.

I am sorry... I forgot to qualify my statement. It is for Saskatchewan PNP for sure...

What would you advice? should I take average score of 7.5 and mention CBL as 8 where all the abilities are below 7.5 or 9 where average my IELTS score is still more than their grid marks

I'm not sure. This https://www.saskatchewan.ca/residen...nal-skilled-worker-saskatchewan-express-entry suggests you just need to meet the federal requirements but this https://www.saskatchewan.ca/residen...ional-skilled-workers/assess-your-eligibility suggests you will only get Sask PNP points for your lowest score. You could contact them and ask, I guess.
I got a revert from them and as per them I can use CBL equivalent to the minimus of the score under any IELTS ability. In my case as reading got messed up and at 6 points my CBL will be 7. I am at the loss here :-(
