I am a filipina who was married in The Philippines to a Japanese foreigner , we have now since gotten a divorce in Japan so I have legal documentation and also have permanent visa in Japan.My question is I am wanting to remarry to my Canadian fiance..Plan on getting married in Thailand. Will Canada consider it a legal marriage even though it not recognized in the Philippines?
