Need help immigrating with my mother

Hello, my mother and I are planning on immigrating to Canada next year, but we're not sure where to start. My mother is self-employed (importing fruits and vegetables), and I'm a student (highschool). How would we go about immigrating? I've searched on the internet but it's unclear as to which process we should go through. Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately Canada's self-employed program is limited to basically two types of people: farmers and artists/athletes.

So she'll need a job offer or she'll have to open a business in order to immigrate.

Okay. If she were to open a business & immigrate, would I accompany her as a dependent child or would I need a student visa or something?

You would accompany her as a dependent child.

Immigrating as an entrepreneur/business owner is very, very expensive.
