PR renewal with 90 days missing

Hello,

We received our PR in October 2014 and stayed 2 weeks in Canada (and then moved back to our home country).
In January 2018, we came back to Canada to settle and live permanently.
We haven't traveled outside Canada since Jan. 2018 but we are still missing about 90 days to meet the requirements to renew our PR next month at the time of expiration of our card (Oct. 2019).

What will be your advise regarding the best way to renew our PR card taking in consideration those missing 3 months ?

Thanks in advance,
Rose

I would strongly suggest not to renew your PR Cards until you have at least three years in Canada.

Yes, the official requirement is 2 years.

But in our experience applicants who just barely meet the residence requirement have their applications investigated at a way, way higher rate than those who easily meet the residence requirement.
