PR Status with Citizenship Application

Hi there, I applied for citizenship last year and was supposed to take the exam last March 2020 but that was cancelled due to the pandemic. Until now, I haven't heard anything from immigration office and my PR card will expire 2 months from now. Will my PR status be extended as my citizenship application is pending or do I need to renew my PR status? Please clarify, thank you

So tests were suspended but my understanding is that they've finally started doing online tests. So hopefully you do not have to worry.

If you need to use your PR Card before you get your citizenship - so if you need to prove your status in Canada to an employer, the government or some other organization - you should renew your PR Card. And please note that processing times are currently awful: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...vices/application/check-processing-times.html

Hello, kindly contact IMMIGRATION lawyer, he is called Ahmad Junaid salik and he runs an immigration firm called EURO-IMMIGRATION PVT LTD, his contact+WhatsApp +1(204) 410-1894. He is good at broking down harsh immigration policies. Even without all requirements, I still made my P.R with him. He is a faithful Muslim and a good man.
