Will your spouse come with you to Canada?

Hi everyone, I was calculating my CRS score and I found that it's really higher if I answer : no my wife won't come with me to Canada
So my question is : can I answer no my wife won't come with me to Canada, then bring her as a visitor, then apply for permanent resident if she gets a job, or by any pathway, or can I simply sponsor her and my son???

That's weird. Any idea why that may be?

Yes, you could sponsor her afterwards (1 year) or she could come as a temporary foreign worker if she can get a job, or a student if she can get accepted into a Designated Learning Institution.

As to the visitor route, my guess would be that they would strongly believe you are inviting her to sponsor her inland and they would refuse the application, but that is only a guess.
