Currently, I'm applying  for a Canadian Study Permit from Nigeria, and I don not intend to travel with my wife and kids. My chosen program will last for 1 year and 6 months. So, I'm wondering if I actually need to fill the Statutory Declaration of Common-Law Union Form.

Please guys, any advice?

Are you legally married or common-law married?

Thanks for your quick response.

Yes, I'm legally married. And I won't be travelling to Canada for studies with my family.
Thanks again.

The common-law form is for people without a marriage certificate so you don't need to complete it.
