Amendment Employment History

Hello,

I applied for a Canadian temporary visa 2 years back. In that application form I submitted, I made some mistakes in EMPLOYMENT section. Mainly in the time-period I worked for a company ( I put wrong year). Thats visa application got rejected.

Now I am applying for PR, and I want to correct those mistakes I made in my previous temporary visa application.
Is it possible to do that? Do the immigration dept: will cross check my previous visit visa information with the new application?

Please help.

Thanks

Hi,
The application form will ask whether or not you have been refused entry into Canada previously. Just say yes. The officer will compare your old application with the new one. If you are being honest on the new one, you should be okay (provided you qualify in the first place).
