Hello, I’ve tried several times in the past to apply for a british passport but have never been successful.
Both my parents are fully Portuguese and were both born there until they moved to UK in 1998 and I was born here in 2002, but my parents were able to get me a Portuguese passport through decent.
My brother, born in 2012, with the same parents, was easily able to get a British passport but I did not qualify due to laws when I was born.
About a month ago, me and both my parents applied for full settled status and we were all successful as they’ve lived here for 21 years.
I wondered, now that we have settled status/indefinite leave to remain, if I would be able to qualify for a British passport? (very complex sorry I’ve searched everywhere but I can’t find an answer) Thank you in advance.
