My grandfather was born in Aden, he was a resident in Kenya and got two British passports. My grandfather was British Protected Person of the Hadhramout State of the Aden protectorate. The first passport was under the colony of Kenya in 1960. While the other passport was in 1965. My father has a Kenyan passport, he is born in 1968. Is my father eligible to apply for British passport?

Probably not but your situation is very unique and I'm not 100% sure.

Do you know the specific three letter code of your grandfather's passport?

[redacted] , this is the passport number. Actually I’ve mistaken writing the date. The first passport was in 1955 while the other in 1964.

So the issue is we need to know what type of "British National" your grandfather was. Not all types confer citizenship and not all types are inheritable.
