New Measure Effects?????

I heard that new measures have been introduced for foreign workers in Canada and Canadian employers who are hiring them.
Can you please tell how they might affect me (who is a foriegn worker and want to come Canada).

There have been a lot of different changes. Unfortunately I am not an expert on temporary foreign workers. The change I know for sure is the change from LMOs to Labour Market Impact Assessments, which cost more money ($1000 I think) and which are not much harder to get.
Anyone else help with this?
