No Income - Can I Still Sponsor?

I've dated my girlfriend for 2 years now and she has a remaining 2 year student visa left. We plan to get married and I want to sponsor her while she is inland. The problem is we both currently have no income, would that affect the sponsorship?

There is no strict income requirement but they do evaluate you based on your ability to provide for your spouse, so I suspect your lack of income would cause your application to be rejected, unless you are wealthy.
