Travel on Permenant residency with COPR and stamped Visa

Hi,

We have a PR stamp and Copr letter and plan to travel in January. but my son's old passport will expire in march so we renewed his passport and now we have new passport.

We will travel with both passports when traveling to Canada. Is it necessary to inform IRCC through a web forum regarding this as our application is already approved?

Kindly guide.

It is always advisable to inform IRCC of the updated information.

Using a web form to update the IRCC should make your arrival at your port of entry (airport usually) smoother. And yes, bring both passports with you.
