UK passport from india

Hi,

Myself and my husband was in UK for 9 yrs and got our UK passport. For the past 2 yrs we are in India and my daughter was born in states and got US passport. She is 11 yrs old. Now we want to apply for British passport for our daughter. So what is the process to apply inside india? Because i know that we need to get 2 signatures from British citizens as a reference. Does it apply when we apply from india?

Thank you....But do u I have to get citizenship for her before getting the passport or I can directly apply for the british passport

And one more information i have to give is at the time of her birth we were not british citizens and was holding a indian passport. But if she is not eligible and if we need to move back to UK, what is the process of her getting the UK passport. She had PR card for 2 yrs which already expired

I'm very sorry, I misunderstood the situation. I assumed you were British citizens at the time of her birth.

Since she was born in the US to non-British citizens, she is not eligible for citizenship or a passport. Sorry for the confusion.
