Canadian citizens can enter Mongolia visa-free for 30 days. If you wish to stay longer, you must "register" with the Mongolian authorities. If you are a Permanent Resident of Canada, you may need a visa to visit Mongolia. Citizens of 160 countries need a visa to visit or do business in Mongolia.

Climate of Monolia
Mongolia has an "extreme continental climate," that is long, cold, dry winters (it is below 0C from November to March) and short, slightly wetter summers. Mongolia is high up (the lowest point is over 500 metres above sea level). The southernmost part of Mongolia is the northernmost part of the Gobi Desert and so receives less precipitation.
