Canadian Citizenship Practice Test

Practice for the Canadian Citizenship Test

When you take the official test, you will have to answer 20 questions. You will have 30 minutes to answer them and you must get 75% (15) correct in order to pass.

If you do not pass the Canadian citizenship test on your first try, you will be scheduled for a second test by a CIC officer. If you do not pass the second test, CIC will send you a notice telling you to come to an interview with a citizenship officer. This interview will last between 30 and 90 minutes and will include questions about both how you qualify for citizenship and your knowledge of Canada. If you do not pass this interview, your application will be refused.
