Debra Williams is a published writer of both print and online content. Her professional career has included titles such as Features Columnist for www.dolcedolce.com under Senior Editor, Gracey Hitchcock (Co Founder of Vogue Russia). Debra later went on to hold the position of Arts Editor at www.dolcedolce.com.
Her early writing career was spent within the ranks at The Women’s Post newspaper based out of Toronto. As a regular Columnist for Editor, Sarah Thomson, Debra has published works on Arts & Entertainment, Business profiles and feature articles.
Between 2006 and 2007, Debra worked with Pauline Couture & Associates, where she created business content and carried out market research for Shakespeare Works and independent theatrical organization.
Debra’s writing experience began in the late 1990s when she was a contributing columnist for UK based organization Talentstar, where she published articles on upcoming, European, musical artists on tour in India.
Currently in training for Project Management Professional (PMP) training, Debra is already a Certified Associate Project Manager by the Project Management Institute.
Debra's professional career has seen her hold positions in a variety of Canadian industries from construction to telecommunications and print media.
Born in Mumbai, India she first came to Canada to study Journalism in 2003. Currently, she is heavily involved in community events and is a strong voice in promoting cultural diversity and equal opportunities for new immigrants in Canada.
