Have you submitted an application to Immigration Canada and have experienced a delay?

Are you wondering why it’s taking so long?

CAIPS and FOSS Notes have been replaced by the Global Case Management System (GCMS)

Immigroup can help. We can request your GCMS (formerly Computer Assisted Immigration Processing System – CAIPS or Field Operations Support System – FOSS) notes on your behalf.

The Global Case Management System (GCMS) is the new system for tracking cases for both Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) and the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA).

The Global Case Management System manages personal information related to citizenship and immigration applications. The type of information tracked by the GCMS includes:

  • First name
  • Family name
  • Date of birth
  • Country of birth
  • Address information
  • Education
  • Travel history
  • Medical history
  • Criminality

Information is entered in these systems from application forms and supporting documentation submitted by applicants and sponsors. These notes give you all the information pertaining to the progress of your application.
