Start Up visas are for people with innovative ideas who have Canadian investment backing from one or more organizations designated to be allowed to provide backing to foreigners with these types of ideas.

A temporary conditional residency visa in many nations is known as the Startup Visa. It proposes to establish a category of visa for business owners who raise outside capital and, upon fulfillment of specified requirements, transforms into a permanent residency visa.
It is a direct path to permanent residency (unlike start-up visa in other 20+ countries). It is not conditional on business success, but only the best proposals get accepted.

In contrast to start-up visas in more than 20 other nations, it offers a direct route to permanent residency. It is not dependent on a company's profitability, but only the finest ideas are accepted.
