Polish with British citizenship

Hello, I am a British man recently my polish wife became a British citizen, she has a polish son who lives with us he will be turning 18 soon. Is it possible for him to become a British citizen also? He will be starting university next year. I would have thought it was relatively straightforward. If anyone can help please write back.

Hi, my mother was born in Scotland in 1966 to a Nigerian Father and mother. Her father studied and worked there. He later got a British citizenship by naturalization. So is she a British citizen? And are her children British citizens by descent?

Because he's lived there so long, I believe there is a provision where he can Register as a British Citizen. https://www.gov.uk/british-citizenship
