I want to apply for immigration to Canada, through the self-employed program. I need your suggestions and experience. I'm a published writer and would like to apply under the category of Authors/writer. My short stories are well recognized internationally

Unfortunately you need to be making most if not all of your income from writing and it looks like you are a lecturer. You are probably better off trying to find a job as a lecturer in Canada instead of trying to come as "self employed". Sorry.
