I got AOR on March 6, 2018.
On March 17, my application went into IP2.
I am FSW-O applicant but all my work experience is from Canada.
Since then there have been no updates. I am wondering how much time is it taking these days to get PPR? Is it true that most applications get PPR update on a Friday?
I had submitted CSE to find out what my visa office is and today I got following response:
"Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
We are pleased to confirm that the information you provided was transferred to the responsible office.
Since your file is located at the Canadian visa office in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Local IRCC offices across Canada offer in-person help by appointment only. Once your application has been received, IRCC will contact you to schedule an appointment if deemed necessary by the processing office.
The contact information for IRCC local offices is available on our website".
Is there any significance of the vancouver office? Like does it mean if my file is there then my application is in background phase or could it mean they are issuing PPR?
Should I order GCMS notes or wait a bit more?
