I was born in 1954 in England , my parents arrived in England as displaced persons after the war. They were married at the time of my birth. Subsequently we emigrated to Canada in 1956. I have an original Certificate of Baptism from a church in England and have just applied for a Birth Certificate. My question : Is my son considered British by descent , and will he then be able to work in England beyond the expiration of his work visa?
