PEI Skilled Worker Applicant Requirements

In order to be eligible for the PEI skilled worker category, applicants must meet the federal skilled worker criteria as well as the criteria listed below:

  • Score approximately 50 points on the PEI skilled worker self-assessment form;
  • Have a permanent, fulltime offer of employment from a company in Prince Edward Island;
  • Have the education and training for the job offered;
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate in English or French;
  • Intend to settle in PEI.

Provincial nominees must complete this form along with all other required forms for permanent residency

In order to be issued a visa, all candidates must meet criminal and medical admissibility requirements.
